Marquez is a hall of famer and that would be better than fighting a guy who's just hot right now. He's fighting established fighters who have accomplished something in the game, I'd give a fighter more credit (especially if they're accomplished themselves) for fightings someone who has something to offer and who has proved themselves, rather than someone who has a hot name right now.
I'm sure that if Hatton wins tonight that there would be a potential fight between Mosley and Mayweather on the horizon.
Don't try and pass this mis-match off fitzgerald. Marquez is a 135 at best and actually has very little chance of winning this fight. Mayweather is an established 147 and as such should be fighting real 147's like Cotto, Mosley or Williams, not natural featherweights.
You are a tool. I mean seriously? You think you're coming here contributing something original to the forum? How many times do we have to endure another Floyd-hating noob who comes on here with the same recycled arguments about Floyd ducking the best competition? Answer this... Why is it OK for him to fight people who outweigh him by 12 - 15 pounds on fight night, but then it some kind of hoax if he fights someone he outweighs by 4 pounds on fight night? Any answers Einstein?
Never called it a hoax. Just giving my opinion on the fights that people want he avoids. Why? Money? location? Floyd team always have excuses as to why they won't fight these fighters but never the "they weigh alot more" excuse like you do.
Although I agree that he didn't fight the best, I believe the only person he has problems with on your list is Williams. I think he makes the other 3 look average, and gets a close UD against Williams.
