What would be the bigger fight right now, Mayweather-Cotto or Mayweather-Khan? :think

Cotto is Shot... Khan might actually be a bit for competitive for a Mayweather fight!

Who is talking about the bout? We're talking about being a draw, Slug.

What makes you think Khan can be competitive with the elite boxers? Him struggling with Peterson? (no disrespect to Peterson, but he is not on the level of Mayweather or Pacquiao).

I mean if there's any guy who's in the driver seat for deciding his opponent, its Floyd Mayweather. If he fights Amir Khan, its not because GBP want it.

Cotto's numbers last time out were 600,000+. What were Khan's? I'll wait.

You're trying to prove he is a draw via social following numbers, when in truth, he hasn't produced the PPV figures YOU believe he is capable of. He may well end up doing good PPV numbers, but as of now...Cotto-Mayweather is the bigger drawing bout.

    #1/#2. Mayweather and Pacquiao.
    #3. Cotto.

    #X Khan.

    As of right now.

Come on man you can't seriously compare Cotto-Margarito II to Khans last outing. Cotto against Foreman or Mayorga might be a bit fairer.

Mayweather-Khan would be as big, if not bigger than Mayweather-Cotto. Khan would bring huge extra revenue from the UK and from Muslims in PPV countries. Plus TV deals with the Islamic countries that don't **** with PPV.

You know why I can compare those bouts? Because they are the bouts to go off seen as Khan hasn't even come class to a bout of that magnitude. Again, I'm talking facts, you are speculating. The only relevant PPV numbers to go by are those that are produced in America (aside from the Klitschko's). That sounds a touch small-minded, but they are basically the numbers that show if you have made yourself a draw in world boxing.

Cotto just got revenge against Margarito - numbers that exceeded 600,000.
Khan just lost against Peterson, and is having to rematch him. All the while not coming across too well in the media.

Cotto-Mayweather is, and will be a bigger draw than that of Khan-Mayweather.

The difference between the Cotto-Margarito rematch and Khan-Peterson is vast...the illegal handwraps first time round and the PR-Mexico rivalry both add big extra appeal, plus both are well established fighters who have fought the very best. Peterson is relatively unknown in the US. What were the numbers for Cotto-Mayorga like?

    Anyway, agree to disagree :good
