    Wow, with all that to overcome besides just his opponent, your friend is a true HERO and great of the ring, one of a million fighters that no one ever heard of, but are giants nonetheless. Tell him ESB toasts his victory! For that story alone, he is immortal.

    that sucks, but its not as bad as him have a seizure during the fight. The trophy can be fixed I am sure, its good that he won though.

    Couldn't put it better myself man.

    Freddie, your guy deserves shitloads of props. He may have had a seizure at the end, but that can't take away the performance and having the heart to step up without thinking twice to take that fight.

    yeah I hate to say it but that sounds like bull****. If an MMA guy 'tees off' on you you're going down. You can't get teed off on with bare hands without getting KTFO, just doesn't happen. Second, an MMA guy, if he sees the punching isn't working, will take the fight to the ground. Third, throwing body shots isn't easy with bare hands and the threat of a takedown, and if the first one hurts the fight will go to the ground immediately.

    Boxers get owned in MMA, on the ground they're a fish out of water and they DO NOT win unless they score a Mike Tyson like shot right on the chin in the opening seconds, which happens so rarely you might as well say it never happens.

    Pretty sad the way his day ended. And even moreso the fact he couldn't continue boxing and go pro. Sounds like he could of done well. Props to your boy for the win though.
