Actually for me Johnson is better than Peter. It all depends on Vitali. If he is in shape, this fight won't go over the distance.
It all depends on Peter's shape. If he comes in right, he will KO Vitali. If not, he will lose. Johnson was 260, competely out of shape with the wrong game plan as he did not even try to use his boxing skills and just went for the broke. We have a different situation now. An inactive Vitali and a bigger puncher with a better chin in Peter.
My only concern for Vitali is his ring rust...and at 37 4yrs is a lot! If that isn't a problem for him then he'll win. But thats a big if. No Peters chin, well didn't look to great against patter cake Mccline.
When seeing how he was built then, I think Vitali looks even more muscular now, than I originally thought. This also a good reminder that Vitali's left hand is such a powerful, wide reaching weapon.
Peter has power but Vitaly is not easy to land and has an iron chin. Bad news for Peter methinks. KO10 Vitaly.
Unless Vitaly comes in half-cocked and without caution, he should win this fight by the late rounds. Peter wont be able to outbox him, his only chance is a big shot. The big shot is possible, but probably not something to bet on because of the big height advantage that will negate alot of that power for Peter. I see Peter huffing and puffing by round 7 due to Vitaly moving in and out causing Peter to chase, then going down and out between a combination of exhaustion and hard shots.
