Price and Wilder would be in opposite roles now if Price avoided 2 drug cheats and Wilder fought 2

No doubt in my mind about this.

Price has been beaten by Thompson and Teper who only got caught dirty post fight. Meanwhile VADA handily exposed two drug cheats in Povetkin and that Polish guy before the fight meaning Wilder avoided two inevitable knock outs.

Had the roles been reversed Price could've been carefully maneuvered along a bum circuit and became WBC champion, while Wilder's glass chin would've been shattered for all to see and his career would be in tatters.

The best fighter David Price beat in his career was a 45-year-old Matt Skelton.

    That's it.

I have no idea why anyone is still talking about this guy.

When Price loses by KO again on Saturday, can we stop?

Price was not Knocked out by Thompson x2 and Teper x1 because they were on a bit of juice.

He was beaten by Thompson because he has terrible punch resistance and no jab, and is poor defensively on the inside. Thompson timed him with counters and turned the fight around and won. This happened in both fights- exposing some serious flaws which means he was never going to get past a gatekeeper level like Thompson and fight for a title, let alone win one.

He lost against Teper, because Thompson took his soul away. He fought against Teper with none of the confidence he had offensively at the beginning of the Thompson fight. He was tentative, scared, pitter patter shots. Teper literally saw the weakness, stepped in a swipped a fairly average left hook at Price.

To the surprise of many, that average looking left hook, from an out of shape Turkish HW knocked Price out cold before he had even hit the floor. This finally exposed that Price has an awful chin. Most top 20 HWs would not even have blinked had they been caught with that that shot. Teper is a really poor HW, and no doubt had Price fought him before Thompson, Price would have won via an early KO inside about 4 rounds.

Now Price is finished. Hammer will likely KO him again, because his weaknesses are exposed and he is super vulnerable in every way. I expect the same scared, frightened approach he had with Teper which does not suit him at all, and expect Hammer to be like a wild animal that smells blood and goes for the kill when the opportunity presents itself..

Wilder could have BOUGHT 40 year old Tony Thompson and Ekran Teper their roids and still knocked them out... and I'm not even a huge Wilder fan.

The irony is that if Price somehow beats Hammer, then he could be Wilder's next opponent after Washington.

If Wilder vs Price happens- Blink and you will miss it.

If there is one thing that Wilder excels at, it is knocking clean out tentative fragile chinned HW's.

    Price is made to measure.

please don't use opposition as an argument in any thread involving wilder

saying that, price is destined for journeyman status. i can't see him doing a klitschko because not even manny steward would be able to save him.

Price chin is horrible and his confidence is gone. However Thompson would of defeated Wilder at that point of time as well. Teper also would of had a chance.

If Price beats Hammer can we admit he has a better resume than Wilder? Whose best win is Audley Harrison.

100% confident that Wilder would have smashed Teper up and stopped him early.

Tony Thompson would have been a 50-50 fight at the time (based on where Tony was then)

I can't be 100 percent confident with the Teper fight. After seeing Molina rock Wilder and last 9 rounds with him after getting smashed in one by Arreola and then running for his life against Joshua, I would give Teper a chance as I believe strongly he is a better fighter than Molina. That may be because of the juice but as it is i feel he could out perform Molina and Molina fared pretty well while it lasted.
I'm confident Toney a southpaw with a good chin and a tricky style as well as the size to match up would of defeated Wilder.

Believe me when I say Im not a big Wilder fan but its not conclusive to say Wilder wouldve got knocked out by a doped Povetkin. I like Povetkin and back him to beat Wilder but we got robbed of the oppertunity to see that and Ill leave it there on that doping thing. Wilder was extremely unlucky not to get that fight. We can say this and that but we cant close the book. We need to see them actually fight. I do think Wilder not fighting a doped Povetkin was the right choice in that it demonstrates dopers wont get title shots but even though I think Povetkin would beat Wilder, its not guaranteed even with the PEDs.

The nervous energy Price expends is one of his major issues. He's knackered after 2 rounds because of this.

    Wilder would run through him
