Price back out during March

    with Maloney mentioning Kathy Duva I would guess they must be talking about a fight with liakhovich who's recent fight with Chambers fell through, very good fight if that's true. Will move up the ranks quickly if he scalps the White Wolf.

    I'd be surprised If a liakhovich fight was in the offing for March or do you mean post Fury ?.

    It's good for a number of reasons. 1- Many of us felt he wouldnt be out against for months on end despite not taking any punishment. 2- Having him fight in America will expose him to the US crowd. Plus it's always nice to make a debute in the states earlier rather than later to get rid of the nerves. And 3- from what i gather, Liakhovich isnt too bad of an opponent and has only been beaten when he has stepped up to semi world level. I see he fought Helenius, so i'll have to have a watch of that fight.

    Unfortunately, knowing Maloney, I wont hold my breathe

    Liakhovich is going to want to fight as soon as possible after just going through a tough training camp so I think before Fury makes sense. The only other Fighter Katy Duva represents who has exposure in the States is Adamek, I don't see how Adamek vs Price would be a good fight for either parties. Other than Liakhovich and soon i don't see any other reason for Maloney to be talking to Duva.

    I think he'll be fighting someone like Zack Page, experienced & tough enough to last for 6-8 rounds.

    I hope he is up against a tough fighetr with a little bit of ambition. Someone who actually belives they can win when they step through the ropes. I expect he'll rematch the pregnant Latvian. He must have given birth by now so might be tougher than last time

    Wasn't there talk a couple of months back about Fury being on that bill potentially against Adamek.:think. Anyway why can't Fury fight Price in March?

    **** Maloney and Hennesey. They'll both stop it from happening. Probably won't even happen this year.
