Kash was showing shades of Ali in there

Pricey's level now is barely surviving against big pakistani bouncers from birmingham city centre

Sadly, I think he’s done beyond domestic level. He was really gassing like mad by the 5th & he shouldn’t be having someone of Kash’s level even trying to put it on him. There was a reluctance to throw that right hand, he was using it very sparingly.

The Dave Allen’s and Chisora’s will be fancying that work now.

Anyone fighting Kash Ali in future should insist that it’s during Ramadan, before sunset.

Shades of 50 Shades more like. Used to have an ex bird who would have enjoyed that. Not for me though.

Sorry, I was replying to Alpo :)

    Sad to see.

He was flying before he got ****ed over by two drugs cheats. It’s a shame, they ruined his career and took away his confidence.

He is still exciting to watch though. Although he’s dropped so far I’d make Allen favourite against him and absolutely easy work for Chisora.

Well with that result. Regardless of how its come about hes fighting the allen browne winner. Browne looks to have aged out and allen is tuff but not shown much bar a chin.
Price is done, no stamina, no confidence, no chin.
His next fight might be fun as long as it lasts but after that its hard to see where be goes.

Ive always wonderd what might have been with price..

Price can still fight Oquendo for WBA world title.

You could argue it the other way around. Two people who would have beaten him anyway, failed drugs tests. Failing those tests made Price think he was unlucky rather than overhyped.

A bit "if me had auntie had bollocks" here but given his dimensions and obvious raw power he could win fights just with his jab, but it's absolutely dog for a bloke that size, it's sort of half gets thrown out and retracted back before full extension as if he's terrified of getting countered. I was still impressed with his handspeed when throwing uppercuts and low hooks in fairness and he reallly hurt Ali when he landed with the latter, I just can't understand why his jab is so shite.

Punching aside though, yeah conditioning is not great but then was it ever at his size? And his inside game on the ropes is lame and begs for looping shots to the back of his head.

Terrific performance from Price. When Ali landed those hard shots early in the fifth round I thought that here we go again but Price came back with a vicious shot that almost took Ali's head off. First time I've seen Pricey making a successful comeback after some adversity. Looking forward to Price v Allen/Browne on Wembley stadium.

I think you've hit the nail on the head, he's so wary with his jab because he is worried about being countered.

He doesn't use it as a weapon, it's more to set up his shots.

Just imagine if he had or used it as a piston like ram-rod jab, he'd cause opponents all kinds of issues for about 3 rounds.

Price is perfect for Prize Fighter.

He'd be World Champion every time there.

Seriously though, it is hard to really see where Price goes from here. I can only foresee him being a gatekeeper for up and coming young British domestics who are aiming to get their "1st name" on their resume.

And to think about 7 years ago or so, Tyson Fury ducked David Price.

Tony Thompson took Price's soul. It all leads back there. Quite sad at what could have been.
