Thompson's punch was definitely, absolutely, just behind Price's ear. To me it was obvious. Even the Box Nation expert commentator called it "behind the era" when they later showed several angles in slo-mo.

While clearly unintentional, it was a rabbit punch. Therefore, the fight should be ruled a NC.


Now, I don't care that much in terms of Price's career. If anything, this "loss" will probably help him in the long run. However, I'm stunned that no one is officially complaining about this.

Jaw structure has a lot to do with it but so does the neck, which is the shock absorber.

 

Wlad has a MUCH better chin than Price.
