he looked brilliant at times but the question mark about price is and has always been his chin. sexton is a very light hitter with only 6 ko's to his record. also sextons style played right into price's hands. he tried to box price with no head movement, and standing 4 inches smaller and with a huge reach disadvantage. someone like chisora would pose a much greater threat to price. he knows how to slip punches and get on the inside. until price fights someone like that, or someone who can hit hard, we really dont know how good he is.
So many people discredit Price because of who he "hasn't" faced or what he "hasn't" done.. You can't rate a boxer based on that criteria!! He HAS beaten a few decent fighters, he HAS won the English, British and Commonwealth titles, and he IS on track to become a strong, intelligent contender for a title nobody can take away from two great fighters.
He looks like he could be something special, but its to hard to tell at this stage. He needs further testing and to keep stepping up the level of fighter he faces, but at this stage you cant complain with what he is doing.
Just like every other prospect, we need to see how he copes in deep waters. He's not put a step wrong in 13 fights as a pro though and that in itself is a great achievement.
