Yes his KO record is good, but 4/1 for what sounded like last night on ringside a new, cagey, get the result sort of David Price. I think i'll be lumping on.

I see a Mitchell-Banks II style fight to be honest.

yeh i might have a bit of that, daft £5, not megabucks but this is boxing lol plus its a fair few pints!

I would be surprised to see it last 12 rounds but i see similairites between this and the Mitchell/Banks rematch, especially with Thompson saying he is looking to go a few rounds before trying to load bombs, could be gamesmanship though, i mean if he sees the opportunity he will pull the trigger surely

Good assessment,I think. But I can see it happening without Price being in as much trouble as Mitchell this time.Another scenario I could see is Thompson running out of gas and late rounds retirement,on the stool.Slightly off topic,Banks hasn't done bad at heavy considering all the experts here were saying Enzo would have walked through him.Would have been good at cruiser, though.

I think that Price stops him late but points is definately not out of the question.

This won't be like Banks/Mitchel 2 unless Thompson gets injured/paid off like Banks did.

I'm pretty sure Thompson will throw more than Banks did, who lets be honest after 4 rounds hardly threw another punch, it was awful.

Thompson knows for an absolute fact that Price is carrying Glass that is just there ready to be shattered again, Chin, head, eardrum it doesn't matter. Price has bad punch resistance. Even with headgear on.

If i can get decent odds on Price getting stopped again then i will have a go, but surely the bookies can't be stupid.

Price is more than capable of winning by KO though, i just don't think he will go 12 rounds without being Knocked out or Knocking Thompson out because i believ Thompson will have a go at times and that could leave an opening or 2 for Price. .

Just been looking at oddschecker.com. As far as I see the first fight, a world level operator came over and stopped a British level operator in two rounds, and not exactly with a haymaker. Bet Victor, William Hill, 188 Bet honestly have Price at 1 to ****ing 5 in the rematch. What am I missing? Is the fix in?

Odds show how much money is on each fighter, Price is going to be heavily backed and he's the better fighter and it's unthinkable that Thompson will land another punch like he did in the 1st.

It's like the Trout-Canelo fight, It was a close fight but before the fight, Canelo was 2/5 on to win the fight and a huge favorite so trust me when I say that the bookies are nearly always right

Cant be having price in this fight. The worst ko ive ever seen. Remarked at the time if Thompson had gone down from that shot we'd all be talking about fix etc

Think he gets done again early

Absolutely mate. You never see one going to work on a bike. I worked managing betting shops and stints with the oddsmakers for seven years so I know all about them. But giving big punters 4/1 to fill their boots on a Thompson KO mystifies me.

Like you say though, maybe the bookies do see that punch as a fluke. I'm a massive Price fan but I don't.

Don't think it will go to points, we all know what Price's power is like but we also know what his chin is like..
