Yeh and its a myth that Lennox Lewis had weak punch resistance, he was probably in the top-5 best punch resistance fighters of the 90's. Lennox Lewis punch resistant. [yt]GvCS5RhLXl8[/yt]
Lennox didn't have a weak chin that's just people talking out their ****ing arse, the resume of heavy punchers he fought and beat is incredible.
Nice guy is David Price. An example on how all boxers should behave and conduct themselves. But they do say....."Nice guys finish last" I hope he recovers, if he needs any guide on how to bounce back and overcome abuse and adversity, it is Audley Harrison. When Audley hangs up the gloves, I'm certain he won't have any trouble finding work. He talks a good game. It will see him as a pundit/commentator or motivational speaker to the youth.
Khan should have been stopped after the first knock-down, the only reason he wasn't is because it was so early. Price could have continued to the same result as Khan, it's equal imo.
True but Lewis lost after being undefeated for a long time having beaten half a dozen or so world contenders. Price, with respect to Thompson (who was quite gracious in victory I thought), lost to at best a durable heavyweight. If Price can string together a decent run of wins in the next couple of years then he has a decent chance of becoming a world champion.
In fairness though Thompson was shouting at them "I told you I'd beat this *****!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCCxnP4Nf9E From around 2.15
:good Cheers mate. The only ever time I see what has happened on twitter, is when I come on here. I cant ****ing stand the thing. :scaredas: But Pricey is a nice guy outside of the ring in real life, never heard a bad word about him. Before last nights fight, I didnt hear a bad word on here about him either......and that says something. As a motivational speaker it would probably go something like this: This content is protected "Hey calm down calm down lad ermmmm" This content is protected
