Considering what we all thought and probably what he thought himself, he done well. Price last night would've beat all his other conquerors imo previous. He was relaxed against a known savage and didn't gas with nerves. The was a bloody good Price last night

 

Yup, one of the best versions I've seen. I totally thought he'd gas with nerves by the end of the 3rd And to be fair Povetkin looked pretty good too. Moved sharply and mixed his punches up well. Slipped some Price combos well too. He needs to insist on the AJ mandatory before getting older.

 

I think Price can beat today's Lucas Browne

 

Moving the chin better might also help.

 

No he couldn't, he can't defend for sh/t. It's not the fact that he gets clipped and the chin doesn't hold up, it's how, over his professional career, he's getting clipped flush, and not being able to tighten up. He has unhealthy amounts of defensive holes, a better chin would only mean a prolonged beating each time he steps up, and a shorter life span. He genuinely seems like a nice guy but boxing isn't good for his health. I'm surprised he's made this far, but he needs to let it go while he can make a conscious decision.

 

Would like to see Price vs Allen and Price vs Chisora. Genuinely competitive fights that'd have plenty of fan interest.
