As far as this next generation being harder hitters than the current and past, that's purely subjective.
One would argue that Mercer, Tua, Lewis, Brewster, Tyson, Valuev, Vitali, and another dozen top 30s from the last generation were just as heavy handed as the Helenius's, Fury's, Pulev's, Mitchell's etc of this up coming generation.
And the current generation is as strong as it's ever been. Wlad, Vitali, Haye, Potvetkin, Boystov, Pala, Walker, Rodriguez could punch all day with the up coming generation.

Price was touted by most all the experts to be the next Wlad Lennox type. Well, Wlad rocked Thompson whenever he landed his right hand. Price dropped a perfectly time R hand right on the button and Thompson shrugged it off. It phased him, but he reset and looked to counter. Against Wlad, Thompson cringed and went into full cover.

On a personal note................Why do you continue creating alts? You're a Klitschko hater, big deal. Some people just hate when they picked a guy to fail miserably, then their prediction gets shot the **** down for a decade. No biggie. Maybe Price could have went on but at heavtweight, when a boxer already looks very shaky, sometimes it isn't worth the risk. Different refs may have done different but I can't see too much reason to complain.
