Jeez that gets worse the more you look at it. Staggering lack of fitness. It's not an issue of questioning the guy's courage but his professionalism. How the hell could he be utterly gassed after a few rounds!?!?

Utterly incredible. Surely he was sparring?!

I cannot work out how and why he looks so bad.

Exactly. If he'd have got sparked again then fair enough but to see him gasping for air and literally dead on his feet after 4 and a bit rounds was incredible.

He looked out of gas when he knocked Thompson down in the second. This is why Chisora is all wrong for him.

Yeah it was bad although Thompson dug some cracking body shots home he was already tiring but i've always felt Price is to top heavy, to used to fighting at a slow pace and never experienced a dog fight. Lets face it as well it was hardly a Fury 100mph war.

Thompson wasn't even blowing and that goon is still chucking southern fried chicken bones into bin in lead up.

All them muscles need oxygen and he's so bloody stiff! it was like Thompson was fighting a cardboard cut out he snapped him in half .

TBH i felt Price showed out to the ref to stop it IMHO. He didn't go come on let me back at him or nod it was him gasping for air and leaning back on ropes.

As you say for those few rounds it wasn't exactly hell for leather stuff was it! I know when you're nervous then your breathing can go all to pot etc but expending nervous energy surely couldn't account for that kind of physical collapse.

And was thinking the same thing regarding Price's body shape too; top heavy and stiff with not very strong looking legs for a guy of that size. He just looks ungainly and when he had somebody like Thompson who could take his power without being totally wiped out then Price went to the default setting of holding his lead left up like a big defensive paw as he did in the first fight. That tells you a fighter is extremely concerned about getting hit. Wlad has worked with that kind of motion but it's fair to say there's a little bit more about Wlad than Price!

At the end you couldn't really make a judgement call in terms of his fighting spirit because although he'd taken shots he was too knackered to carry on anyway and was inviting the ref to end it out of sheer exhaustion it seemed.
