Sexton's actually been stopped twice. And the only reason he has never hit the canvas is because Martin Rogan refused to hit him when he was out on his feet.

Not sure where this idea Sexton has a chance comes from, he's got little power even if Price's weak area is his chin which we suspect.

He's also an outboxer, relies on his jab and handspeed. He's not very strong, he's going to be getting into a technical fight with a guy much bigger and more powerful, horrible style matchup.

If Sexton was a different style of fighter at this level, but the same level, yeah I'd be more excited about his chances...but...nah.

Think Maloney had depressed himself so much telling his story of the last few years that he suddenly didn't give a **** about Sky, or Price!

He throws his 2 cents in about Del and Dave also. Surprise surprise he doesn't agree with it and is right behind the board.

if price can manhandle mcdermott in one round, he'll be able to manhandle sexton just as easily....i'll throw a few quid on price in a round.

Sexton is not the guy to beat Price, Sexton does not have the chin, size, power and no real skills and I am not trying in anyway to say Price is a great skilled fighter but he is better then Sexton.

Price by KO then moves on to better fights.

Bump it. If I'm wrong, then it wont be the first time I've been wrong about a fight and it wont be the last. But any sensible look at the fighters says Sexton gets battered. Price has a questionable chin and I don't think he deals well with pressure and inside fighters. Sexton brings nothing to the table to present these problems. He likes to fight from the outside and he doesn't bang.

What is Sexton going to try and do? He is going to try and box a man off the jab. That man, in this case, is much taller with a much bigger reach, and a good jab. Sexton is going to be standing exactly where Price wants opponents to be and bang in range for the 1-2 which is Prices bread and butter.

The fact that Sexton hasn't been down is not really relevant to whether he gets stopped or not. Bruno very rarely went down. He still got stopped. Sexton is getting done inside 4.

I have a feeling Sexton's gonna be a hard nights work for Price, I think he'll make Price come to him and he's got decent lateral movement and decent handspeed. I can see Price being asked questions for first time in his career and not looking great answering them. I think he'll take a UD cos i think Sexton will be slightly to gunshy to take decision. I wouldn't right Sexton off at all he's got a decent chance.

I can see his plan being get through first 4-5 rounds and then look to take over in later stages. Try sneak a few rounds in early stages but see what Price has about him late on. Does he keep his form? and poise?.

I'd laugh if he did beat him tbh..
