The distance this fight goes depends on whether Sexton goes negative or becomes less willing to engage/not engage at all.

:rofl:rofl Your missus knows her stuff Ice :deal, Should make a thread 'Durable or Not: Mrs Ice decides'.

I think your right though he seems Frank type to just fall around and not know how to survive well. Saw some clips earlier of him being hurt and he wobbles like a pisshead .

I must admit that when this fight was first announced I wasn't particularly excited, thought it was just another reasonably respected name to pad out Price's record.

And then came the announcement of Haye/Chisora, and this fight has been pushed to the sidelines a bit.

But now that we are a few days out from the fight people are talking about it, and having read this thread and reviewed some footage of the two fighters, I am beginning to think there is a chance of a decent scrap. Sexton, though no world beater, has shown glimpses of something greater throughout his career and if he turns up with his A game on Saturday he should give Price a decent challenge. The other thing for me is David Price's chin; there are suggestions that it may not be his best attribute, indeed he has been quite badly wobbled before, can Sexton connect, and if he does how does Price react?

All in all quite an intriguing fight, which I think may have a few surprises. I expect Price to win, but I don't feel confident enough to put any money on it!:D

She chats a load of **** that I don't understand most of the time and she does get overly emotional when she watches a fight, especially live, but she does have an uncanny knack of spotting a duff one, and according to her Pricey is a duff en :deal. I watched a clip earlier, maybe the same one as you, when he dropped his shield and just stood there like a tit whilst his opponent slotted him....he looked like me at 11:30 on a sunday night :thumbsup

This isn't even competitive, Sexton is ****. Price could operate currently at European level. I fancy him to KO Fury aswell..

Yer looking forward to this, you could see the tension between them at the head to head during the weigh in today. Satch looks well up for this. Think Edwards has it though.

Price weighed in at 17st 7lbs & Sexton tipped the scales at 16st 2lbs

Pricey looks huge against Sexton, going take a lot for Sexton to get behind Pricey's jab.

We are very lucky to be in an era where we have no less than 3 up and coming heavyweights who would dominate in any era, Price, Fury and Mitchell. Great great times ahead.
