Terrible choice from his management if that's the case. Price needs to build his conditioning and his confidence back up first before he takes that fight. It's got Chisora mid-round KO written all over it.
With his Chin it doesn't even matter. He could have Ray Arcel and Eddie Futch in his corner and it would do him no good. He has an abysmal Glass Jaw and nothing he does is going to fix that.
Booooooooooooooooooom!!!!!!!!! Ka-ching!!!!! tinkle tinkle tinkle tinkle tinkle tinkle........ That - dear friends - is the sound of Price's chin getting Shattered and all the little sparkles of glass hitting the floor....................
thats cliche and old. knocking out 2 bums wont do anything for your confidence . because youre supposed to win those. beating a guy that is your equal or better will do something for your confidence
Cliche and old doesn't mean wrong. :!: There's a big gap between bums and a guy like Chisora who, although he's not top 5, is a dangerous heavyweight with a bad style for a guy already coming off two consecutive KO losses. Case in point, look how Chisora himself bounced back from getting demolished by Haye. That's the right way to rebound.
if price and his team think he can win, the fight the guy and kick his a s s. if they dont think he can win, dont ever fight him or just retire...because if you cant beat him , not much point in racking up wins against cans if thats youre only goal its refreshing to see fighters not scared to fight just because they loss. props to price for wanting to redeem himself
Not a good match for either. Price will lose and Chisora has nothing to gain. Chisora should fight Wilder
Price needs a couple of confidence-building warm-up fights against lesser opponents, before going in with someone as tough as Chisora. Price has had ridiculously few rounds during the last 5 years for a highly regarded up-and-comer. Maloney has done a poor job for him.
