Come on . Can nobody analyze a fight?

Thompson was battering Price with body shots. I knew as soon as TT got thru with those body shots it was all over for Price. His rib cage is way open ,he's like a heavy bag. Way to easy for Thompson.

Price is not a fighter. This game is not for him unfortunately.

Dino its not entirely his fault, when you are that tall and big you are bound to leave huge swaths of your body open no matter what you do or how you attempt to cover up. This is why historically tall guys where never good heavyweights. Once you start dealing with guys over 6'3 you can just duck down and rip the body with your hardest shots and duck under their counters. Now they are punching down to try and hit you, and are open to the hardest and most dangerous punch.... the overhand right. These big tall guys have slow hands. Its not like Klitschko is THAT slow, but almost any boxer under 6'3 will have way faster hands.

Yeah but this is where Bowe get seriously underrated as a complete boxer. Look how he used trun to the sides to block and parry shots to his body. Go to Bowe's body and be prepared to eat a brutal uppercut.
Wlad couldn't defend body shot and let Brewster bomb him away with a left hook eary which he never recoverd from.
Price is just too far behind to go anywhere and needs to much work.

To me, Price's downfall was being unable to keep Thompson off of him. There are several factors behind this, first, Price's jab just isn't assertive enough and he doesn't make use of it as much as he should, then, Price going back loses all composure and needs a bit of time to re-position himself well, thirdly, no clinching. While stamina was worrisome, a big guy like that moving so much will tire quickly. You never see Wlad moving this much. Because he doesn't have to. He pumps the job, he takes some steps back to avoid shots but even while backing up, fires back jabs and most importantly, he clinches, instead of letting opponents thudding away at his body.

Price did try to hold on the inside, but he didn't seem to know how to do it. Almost every time he failed to tie Thompson up or lean on him and that's when he took many of the bodyshots that gassed him.

:dealExactly. And when Wlad clinches HE TIES HIS DAMN OPPONENT UP and leans into him instead of just loosely holding him around one shoulder and allowing him to bang away at his body. His jab was almost non-existent as you say, he kept throwing rights without setting them up properly. Also, his stamina must be pretty bad: Tyson Fury is of similar size but seemed to be able to go at a high pace for much longer than Price.

Not in the instance of Price's being drugged, but in the Klitschko Brewster case, all but the part about DK paying lab techies a mil apiece is 100%%%%% factual:deal

Although when Klitschko team DR went to the independent labs to make an analysis, the labs were destroyed against their protocol of 2 weeks.

This was only 2-3 day after the fight.:huh:huh:huh

Yeah I saw that. That was definitely a factor but I don't believe the druged theory.

Wlad fans dont understand body punching. Its not possible that Brewster punched the stamina out of him.

Body shots are deadly. Sometimes it takes few rounds to kick in sometimes. Tyson use to break down big guys to the body. Imagine what a prime Tyson would have done to the Klitschkos. Roach should teach Povetkin to go to WLads body early. If he does Wlad will be tired very early in the fight

neither Price nor Wlad (vs Brewster) were drugged, both punched themselves out and suffered the consequences, I don't bother reading these threads with the 'being drugged' theories, because they're full of ****
