Purses are decided by the promoter and are based on the predicted drawing power of the fighters participating in the fight. Since Eubank is obviously a bigger name and Brook has fought, and beat, a top US fighter IN the US, the promoters feel like they'll draw more revenue than BJS.

I don't know what makes you think GGG or any other fighter cares how much money their opponent makes so long as they get their fair cut. They aren't the promoters. They don't decide their opponents purses.

 

BJS is promoted by ***** ******, not Hearn. No doubt Hearn and Sky have more $ when it comes to fighters purses. No way BJS gets that kind of money fighting golovkin.
