Unsurprisingly Price has cancelled his US debut against Josue Blocus in order to concentrate on the Sexton fight. Replacing that fight on the 24 March card in New Jersey is Mike Perez vs Darnell Wilson. I thought this would be a decent test for Perez but according to Boxrec the fight is only scheduled for 6 rounds? Perez went 10 rounds with Friday Ahunanya last time out, and he's a journeyman, so why bring in a top 100 heavy but then only schedule the fight for six? Bizarre.

    Price ducking Blocus :-(.

  5. **** sake.

He really ought to get himself known across the pond. He could fly in through an ash cloud ala Terrazzas and still be able to beat Sexton.

He should've had both fights. Bloody modern prospects ;-)

Perez Vs Ding-A-Ling Man is a worthy replacement.

Perez fight should be fast and furious over 6. Is that a shobox series fight?

Yes. David will turn age 29 in July - he should be more active and build up his resume. Neither Blocus nor Sexton will be difficult fight, no good reason he couldn't do both.

Smacks of a lack of confidence. Dangerous stuff in anyone in a competitive field.

Don't see why he wouldn't want to fight Blocus as well.

See David Price was at Wladimar's fight at the weekend, trying to get himself known he looked like he didnt know where to look! He'll be found out soon enough like the rest of them.

Bring em up like a baby and they fall like a baby!

Why the hell do these fighters have to be so inactive? He should be fighting once a month, especially if he's only going a round or two.
