I noticed he's got some loose defense at times but he's fought some solid hitters and been tagged good, especially for a 19 yo with only 10 or 11 fights.

Not saying he's got an iron jaw by any means, but his in and out style is gonna make him take shots coming in and shots going out, leading to KDs.

But Im a fan and I really believe in this kid. Same as Colon and Spence, Ali and J Rock.

Really solid crop of youngsters coming up right now in the middle weights.

    :scaredas:

That ref did a terrible job. I would have thrown out that P.O.S. Williams within 6 rounds. The 2 point deduction was a bit harsh as well. Ref should be banned from boxing... Same with Williams. Both scum and P.O.S.

And I realize that Terrel Williams probably feels bad, and he SHOULD. That's why they have rules about not blatantly punching someone in the back of the head. ****ing scum.

Hope that there is someway Colon can recover. :-(

Words cannot describe. Hitting to the back of the head was absolutely Williams main game plan. Early on he made it a point to hook around to the back of the head. Then when Prichard starting feeling the effects and leaning in, he made absolutely sure to take advantage of those opportunities to rabbit punch as well. I saw maybe one or two instances where Williams punch was already in motion, the rest, if not all, were deliberate. Disheartening, sickening, rage inducing..I hope Williams is sick with depression over what he did just like he should be.

I agree. It almost seemed like on a few occasions Colon was BLOCKING or preparing to block shots to the back of the head. THERE WAS SO MANY. This made it easier for Williams to land shots to the front of the head... Because Colon was forced to block shots to the back of the head. Williams is POS for having a game plan that included fouling, and the REF is a POS for allowing it to go on.

I shudder to think what would have happened if his corner hadnt have made the mistake as to which round it was.

He would have been sent out for 3 more minutes.

As it is, it seems bad.

This needs a serious investigation. Williams and the ref can actually be charged. Refs are too useless these days. They do nothing but breaking up clinches and counting to ten. I hope this will set a milestone for future fights and specifically refereeing.

Wasn't there a doctor involved after the five minute break for Prichard as well? Fight should've been called off when Prichard said he felt dizzy, that is absolutely a word that should say fight is over. A fighter would even know to stay away from that word. I think Prichard was trying to quit then when he said that, the guy was trying to save his own life and no one listened or did a damn thing.

The hate for Williams is ridiculous, why is no one bringing up the fact that Colon was literally turning away from punches? which is dangerous. This is boxing and fouling happens, if you don't like it then you should really watch a different sport.

Williams was blatantly fouling... Hitting to the back of the head that many times is not a part of the sport. Also as for some of us being soft, I would LOVE to see you get punched in the back of the head 50 times, go into a coma and stop posting.

Just kidding mate. You have a disgraceful glass chin and NO HEART and would probably quit or get knocked out before getting bad enough internal bleeding to put you in a coma. :rofl
