    great WORK!

    Thank you.

Excellent breakdown, Hagler was like a boulder roiling down hill. Just Bad-ass all around.
Hagler was not beaten, Ray shoe shined for the win.

This whole scenario comes across as Haggler getting lulled into a false friendship with a cunning scheming Leonard who was counting on Haggler's gullibility. I can imagine Leonard smilingly and humbly explaining to Haggler over a cup of coffee how much of treat their match would be for the fans. Maybe harping on all the money they could make and perhaps on how much he personally needed it at that time. Blah Blah Blah while doing so all the time because he noticed a chink in Haggler's armor.

Hagler should have taken the mandatory fight against Herol Graham instead.

Hagler gave those first 4 rds away and let leonard steel the end of the rounds. Thats on him he shouldnt have done that. No one to blame but himself

Why can't he blame the judges as well? If a guy is winning rounds for maybe 2.40 mins or so but the other guy tries to end the round by throwing a few flashy fast combinations that look good but are totally ineffective in their actual impact, any trained judge worthy of the profession should be able to see through it and score the round accordingly for the guy who was clearly winning the round for the large majority of it.

Hagler would have wrecked Graham. I say that as a big fan of Graham and his weird switchy, defensive style.
