Some people here are saying that David Tua is not a factor..?

Some people here are saying that David Tua needs to get himself into contention again..?

Someone here says, all of that is bull****. Who..? Yeh that's right me.......I'm back..!!

If somebody like John Ruiz can get, so many shots at the title...?

If somebody like Hasim Rahman can get, so many shots at the title...?

If somebody like Shannon Briggs can get so many title shots...?

If somebody like Sam Peter can get so many title shots..?

    Why can't David Tua..?

David Tua has fought 56 times.

David Tua has Won 50 fights.

    43 by Violent Knock Out.

    He's drawn 3 times.

    And been beaten 3 times.

    He's never been knocked out.

And has been knocked down once in the history of his heavyweight professional career.

David Tua has knocked out or stopped 4 former World Champions. Two of those Champions took him less than 1 round.

There's guys that David Tua has fought, who have never been seen again. They simply have, Vanished they ain't there no more.

Some seek police protection, and change their identity, and chose to live in exile......fearing a rematch.

There's guys that David Tua has fought, in aftermath they have slipped into depression, and have not been able to get through the day without some sort of help.

When are we going to stop ignoring fighters like David Tua...?

When are we going to accept the fact that Terminators are amongst us.

When are we as fans, as people going to stop making excuses.

    • David Tua deserves a title shot. For who he is, and what he has done throughout his whole career. And also the simple fact that he is still here, and he is still punching in anger. All of them guys up above, Shannon Briggs, Hasim Rahman, Sam Peter, John Ruiz........have all had multiple title shots.
When David Tua has only been given one shot, against the last great heavyweight. The 3rd greatest Heavyweight of all-time on paper, and possible head to head, **** achievements, **** records, the most formiddle son of a ***** of all-time.

    Lennox Lewis......?

That is it, that is all David Tua has been given.

I don't know weather you guys know The Marquess of Queensberry rules, personally i don't know all of them of by heart to the full stop.

But i know one of the rules.

    > Inside of a boxing ring Violence is permitted.

    David Tua vs David Haye

    "Violence"

    2011

    Make the fight happen..!!!

Id sooner pay to watch Haye v Tua than Haye v Chagaev.Tua may be getting on a bit but it would be a good fight to watch. The bloke comes to fight and looks for the big KO from the first bell to the last.

I'd sooner pay to watch Haye v Eric Crumble than Haye v Chagaev, but that's just me.

Chagaev has been on a serious and rather sad downturn since the '08 layoff. When he outpointed Valuev he looked like he could be an exciting, intelligent new prescence on the heavyweight stage but it's been gradually downhill since.

Tua can be a live opponent for anyone. But his eternal kryptonite, a consistant jab allied with good lateral movement and focus, will always be his downfall when it comes to the crunch.
