    Who wins and why?

Oscar was fast, powerful and tall for a 140 guy.Prior was fast and liked to brawl.I think De La Hoya beats him on size but what do you think?

Aaron Pryor would work ferociously on the body of DLH. This will tire him and slow him down.

A shot to the liver, much like the one that Hopkins landed - will end this one. The Hawk by KO 9.

Aaron Pryor? Are you kidding me? Pryor homicide over Hoya in less than three. Pryor is one of the greatest ever. Leonard shamelessly dodged him; he destroyed Arguello, and retired with only one loss. Hoya has what, five losses and a couple of very questionable gifts against Sturm, Whitaker and others? Hoya is a good fight; I'm just not sure he's an all time great.

Why do "I just watched Legendary Nights last night so I'm the next Jack Newfield" fans like you exist?

    Go away.

Unless it's a bodyshot very late in the fight, I don't see Pryor stopping DLH. Oscar is quite bigger, and has the skill, power, speed, and chin to beat Pryor, but prime for prime I think Pryor takes a close decision mostly due to his workrate, although he will be landing clean shots throughout. 15 rounds Oscar may tire enough to get stopped late by Pryor, especially to the body, but i'd favor prime Oscar to go the distance and lose a close decision. No probllem at all for someone picking DLH over Pryor though.

    A great match-up.

I favour Pryor by a hair.

    51-49.

You think Leonard ran from Pryor because he wasn't a real threat? Get a clue.

    Please.

Pryor wasn't even a welterweight. Everyone calls out the big names because that's where the money is.

Leonard fights Benitez, Hearns, Kalule, and Duran in a 2 year period, and comes out of a three year retirement to jump to middle to fight Hagler.

"But, he was so scared of Pryor, did you see Legendary Nights??? Pryor called him out!!!"

Furthermore, De La Fishnet has faced all kinds of fighters, and been stopped ONCE, by a friggin middleweight, and he gets stopped in 3 by Pryor??? Gimme a break.

I wonder what people would say about DLH if his best wins were over aging fighters, guys who peaked in lower weight classes, or aging fighters who peaked in lower weight classes, like Pryor's were.

Oh wait, they do say that about DLH.
