Ike would have been to much for Haye, if Haye tried to slug it out he would get ko'd early, if he tried to 'paw' and run 'ala' Valuev fight Ike would close him down and ko him mid to late, and if he tried to box 'ala' the Mormeck fight its lights out before the 6th.

If Haye survived past three rounds with Ike I'd be very impressed.

I agree with Flea though that Haye would have his hands full with Byrd.... and would either lose a clear decision or run out of steam and be halted late.

Ike proved his stamina, power and chin is more than enough to dispatch Haye by ko.

The only thing he didnt do was face a big heavyweight (6'5+). Im sure he would have given them a hell of a fight....but he may hav struggled the same way Holyfield did with Bowe and Lewis.

Oh, he'd have struggled far more than Evander, who was far more well-rounded, sharper and faster of hand and foot.

There's a chance Lennox would've done what he usually did when he saw a big danger in front of him, but if Ike could come through Hell early he can really make Lennox fight as it goes on. And Lennox was rarely smashing people late, if Ike could force the fight he'd make it competitive.

I see no chance of Ibeabuchi beating Lennox unless Lennox underestimated him the way he did McCall and Rahman in his first fights with them. But I don't think he would, Ike was a monster. Lennox Lewis KO 3 Ibeabuchi.

However, he would've been another quality name on Lewis' resume, and madness permitting, would've had a good crack post-Lewis if he could keep it together. Vitali Vs Ike is a very intriguing matchup IMO.

if lewis beets ike then surely viatli would?
Both tall very strong big punchers - good chins good workrate. Used thier size well. vitali a bit more awkward throws more punches, Lewis maybe a bigger once shot puncher who could box nicely when he needed or go to war. I think id pick both to beat ike - now wlad ike could be interesting. Wlad likes to fight at his pace someone with Ike workrate might trouble him

Yep. Ike would knock Haye to senselessville (Jim Lampley) just as he did to Byrd. Might have to re-watch the Tua fight tonight after this thread:yep

Whilst before his first retirement Vitali had a bit more snap, he's not a massive puncher IMO. He uses his height well by leaning back from punches, but was always more of a 'pawing' puncher IMO. Ike could walk him down I reckon, get i in his chest, and would be one o the strongest guys Vitali has ever faced. He whacked pretty hard himself, and would give a peak Vitali a tough fight IMO. Vitali forces his game enough to win on points, if Ike hasn't smashed his face into oblivion, although that was a matter of circumstance against Lennox, Vitali looks pretty tough facially, I don't think there's too much to suggest that anything other than a sustained hiding would cause the sort of wounds Lennox inflicted on the big man,

Prime Ike Vs Todays Vitali, Ike would wear him down, the old mans body, barely hanging together by all accounts, would finally fall to pieces.
