Nah man, Liston would slowly pepper Frank into submission, out Jab the Jabber and then start to break him down to head and body with both hands, Liston was better at pretty much everything and was also stronger, you mention the strength could be on Bruno’s side, no chance. Bruno was heavier but Liston was a physical freak. Probably one of the strongest 215 athletes ever

 

Tbh, that’s not a million miles from what I said, strength aside. Your underestimating Bruno’s jab though, only Tyson made him miss with it down to his style, even then in the first fight he could land it, Lewis was kept from doing anything for a few rounds down to Bruno’s jab, Liston would eat it too while it lasted

 

Bruno did have a strong and effective jab but it was speed that was Listons downfall and Frank didn’t have enough of it, if your feet are as slow as Bruno’s were you better hope you have more artillery than he did to hang with Liston, but I take your point on the jab

I think that Liston stops Bruno but not as easy as people think. At 6'1 210-215 pounds, Liston was the big man in his day. But Bruno would be 3 inches taller and about 20 pounds heavier. Bruno gave hell to Witherspoon, Bonecrusher Smith and Lennox Lewis and beat McCall who was a big, powerful heavyweight with heavy hands.

Liston stops Bruno in the mid to late rounds, but Bruno treats him rudely in the meantime
