    Fair post.

What's your scorecard for the Bowe vs Tubbs fight ? It was a very close fight but I think Bowe edged it.

I agree that Biggs (who I don't think was past-it since he had a career resurgence at that point and was very motivated) outjabbed him, but he crumbled under Bowe's pressure.
I don't think Usyk would be able to stay at range moving as he likes, and he never faced an heavyweight with Bowe's jab and bodywork.

A drained Bowe was doing well in the 3rd and 4th rounds of the rematch versus Golota (and not only on the inside), but he was fouled repeatedly and couldn't really sustain that momentum. IIRC he broke Golota's jaw and cut his eye.

Bowe wins a disputed decision, great big man (and he was great for Holy I let's face it) beats equally great smaller.

I'd rate Breidis and Gassiev harder punchers shot for shot than Fury. Since when has Fury been a big hitter or Chisora for that matter? Cruiserweight Haye stopped Chisora quicker than Fury did and Vitali couldn't stop him at all. Cruiserweight Lerena dropped Dubois but Hrgovic, Joshua, and Miller couldn't floor him.

Bowe didn't stop anyone renowned for their durability aside from Holyfield who seemed to be sick in their third fight. He couldn't stop Donald, Tubbs, or even Golota. Realistically he likely has to win on points. If he can't stop these guys its not likely he stops Usyk.

I don't rate Bowe as highly as alot here do.

Yes he was a talented Heavyweight but he is overrated his resume is very thin and he seemed to avoid the notable punchers of his era.

Yes he had a memorable trilogy vs Holyfield although Holyfield was very under par in their 3rd fight and still almost knocked out Bowe it has to be said.

Holyfield was a small Heavyweight who liked to brawl and who wasn't a massive puncher and that suited Bowe who excelled at inside fighting and was the bigger man.

Usyk wouldn't brawl with Bowe he would be using angles/movement and frustrate Bowe with his jab.

Bowe could look very good against a certain stylistic match up in which he was allowed to inside fight. But against movers or boxers Bowe often didn't look that great and struggled it has to be said.

    Usyk by decision for me.

I’m going with Usyk by decision. Bowe might have his moments but I think he ultimately gets outboxed.

Bowe is concussive. If it was the 91 Bowe, who learned not to quit from sparring Holyfield, he would be bring the pain. I don't want to hear anything about Joshua. Different level. .Bowe really brought it. I don't know.. if the fight goes 15 rounds, Usyk is taking pain for 15 rounds. Uppercuts on the break and everything else. Hard to pick against Usyk.. but Bowe was a nasty piece of work, hypnotized to not quit.. he aint going down without a low blow (from him). He threw low blows constantly against Holyfield.. maybe he would get away with it against Usyk too? Like that ******ed fellow DIDN'T? even though it was borderline (Dubois). Bowe would throw many more low blows than that.. and might get away with it again.

Same here brotha. Carpenter is the master. It has that Carpenter feel with awesome atmosphere, historical locations and an excellent soundtrack.

I grew up near Sierra Madre where some of The Fog was shot and had no idea so many of Carpenter's movies were filmed there. Also I got a tattoo of The Shape on April 21, 2000 and forgetting that The Fog took place on April 21, 1980 - also known as Fog Day!! And better yet my first nephew was born on April 21, 2007.

What does your Top 15 Horror Films list look like? Share it here my man, especially with the season happily upon us...
