Front foot attacking has never beaten Foreman and would never beat Foreman. Povetkin is right there to be hit ,he takes an unmerciful beating.

Povetkin is much more busy and he has the head movement and body sway to make slow-ass Foreman miss. Foreman on the other hand is there to be hit and Povetkin went well to the body and head. Povetkin on points, probably widely.

Povetkin, be patient and look to land quick counters, lead hooks, counter rights over the jab, then get out after 1 or 2 maybe 3 at most punches, he can pull a Tommy Morrison trick, except Povetkin is the better fighter than Morrison.

When has Povetkin ever displayed the stick and move back- foot game Morrison used to beat Foreman?
I'll answer that for ya. Never.
So you are basing victory off an ability he never once displayed in his entire career.
When people do that it means they pick who they want to win ,not who they think will win.

Povetkin fights one way - straight forward. When you walk onto Foreman you his increase the impact of his punches. Briggs knew that , staying at a distance and he fought Foreman who was almost 50.

Eddie Chambers landed power punches and jabs on Povetkin with a 60% connect rate. If youre walking face first into Chambers shots , you ain't lasting more than 6 rounds against Foreman.

When did Morrison show he could box like that leading into the Foreman fight?

Morrison was also tagged by C level fighters and rocked, why? Because he respected them less, same with Povetkin getting tagged by Chambers.

Povetkin Chambers was a very good performance from Povetkin IMO.

To be fair though, Foreman moves in slo-mo compared to 'fast' Eddie.

Povetkin easily wins---old Foreman is extremely overrated.

Morrison took the Foreman fight more seriously than any other in his career. He wasn't dedicated or consistent.

If Povetkin is capable of what you claim , why didn't he show it against Klitschko? Because he only has one style and its go forward and walking into Foreman is a fools strategy. Cus D'atmo - no swarmer or slugger in history beats Foreman.

Because trying to box against Klitschko would have just meant that he stays on the end of him and can’t do anything.

He could get in and out against Old Foreman because Old Foreman didn’t have the feet to get away and step back quick enough as Klitschko did, he had to try and take the ring away from Klitschko so he wouldn’t have enough room to step away, whereas trying to box and get in and out and giving ground against Klitschko would just mean that Klitschko could just step back whenever Povetkin tries to attack.

He could do that against Foreman, take him by quick surprise in and out while giving ground because Foreman can’t get out of the way fast enough.

Povetkin has the potential to win this one but if he gets too Careless he could get knocked out.
