Schulz was 1995. This thread is 88-91 Foreman. Foreman was noticeably slower in 1995.

The guy that may well have been out hustled by Alex Stewart? Gotcha.

Best possible result for Povetkin is no contest after he gets popped for the Ivan Drago levels of gear he was pumping into his system.

Once he got caught (a second time), he couldn’t risk it and became a punching bag

I actually like Prime Povetkin (Peak Alexander from the Perez and Takam fights) to win this one by TKO. That Povetkin was an offensive powerhouse. And I think his chin was sturdier than Moorers to take the occasional bomb that George would land. I can envision Povetkin busting/cutting George up to the point the ref waves it off late. George would be a sitting duck against what would be a sharper AND busier puncher than Moorer was.

Considering George took Morrison’s left hooks… Povetkin isn’t KOing him. But he would be even busier than Tommy. Bad fight for George imo

Wlad was a science experiment, an athletic phenom with some incredible skills, still in or just out of his prime, armed with unlimited grappling.

Foreman was 44 years old and very slow. Sticking and moving against Foreman was a much easier task.

Axel Schulz shows the difference in athleticism between Wlad and mid-40's Foreman. He beat Foreman by all accounts but couldn't lay a glove on Wlad and got stopped for the first time, despite having close fights with Moorer, Botha, Akinwande x2 and Smith.

Povetkin's best chance against Wlad was to be direct but he was foiled by Wlad's A-side advantage and his own unwillingness to fight fire with fire.
