We know Tubbs didn't have a prime, but let's just say his best self before going completely off the rails.

    Who takes this?

Good fight. I’m high on Povetkin so I would pick him. I have him as the 3rd best heavy of the K2 era. But Tubbs was no slouch, highly skilled. I think I scored his post prime loss to Bowe a draw years ago. Have to watch it again. The Tyson blow out loss skews the perception of Tubbs along with his physique. I’d say Povetkin outworks him and win’s competitive decision

I think Povetkin is by far more proven and stayed at the top for longer. Tubbs was pretty good but not on Sasha's level let's be honest. Povetkin wins.

Will go with Povetkin, along with the majority and in fact go a step further and say he was the best H2H heavyweight not to win the title, with the possible exception of The President.

I think Povetkin was too well rounded and disciplined for Tony Tubbs…. Tubbs had fast hands and good boxing skills. But he was rarely if ever in shape. Had a weakness for hard left hooks and didn’t have much to hurt Povetkin with.

    Sasha would be my pick.

But top flight Tony that can only be imagined, but he hinted at it, Top Flight Tony would be amazing.

No contest after Povetkin fails yet another drug test after the fight.

Tubbs didn't throw enough punches to win this. He had an excellent jab and a quality chin against anyone not named Mike Tyson, but just a bad style match-up.
