Lewis boxed moving around off his jab effectively, WHEN he decided to let guys know you can't get past my jab as a reminder..Wilder is a stop and go fighter, he has no fluidity to him more than going a couple steps.

For a man of his size he was okay ,I just would not describe his footwork as fluid.
I think L.L. next to Ali is the worst stylistic nightmare for any other heavyweight.

Well asuming that size makes a big difference like so many posters on this site believe a 6"6 1/2 250lbs Vlad would own Ali much like he owned Chris Byrd. There were always massive heavyweights Jeff Willard & Primo Carnera were the best up until Joe Louis and then Buddy Baer at 6"6 245 & Abe Simon fit in.

After that there were still Big men but they had trouble getting past the craftsmen of the eras. Charles,Walcott,Moore, beat all the top 15 Big Men to become #1 contenders. After that Ernie Terrel at 6"5 challenged Ali and caught a tongue lashing & a whopping. Guys like Ali,Quarry beat a lot of the big muscular guys of the era-Quarry= Buster Mathis,Thad Spencer, Mac Foster,Ron Lyle & Ali toughest opponents were 5"11 180 lb, 5"10 Oscar Bonavena,5'11 Joe Frazier.

In Lennox and Vlad we find a much better quality of big man. International Amateur competition and the Super heavyweight division gave these men experience and dispite their respective flaws rose to the top of the amateur heep.

Ali also had extensive amateur experience & gold medal......where was Ali superior, I would have to say mental strength, speed,movement...Ali showed mental strength in the Foreman fight & Spinks rematch and Frazier fights but did lose to Frazier in the FOTC when Frazier was in tip top shape & 27th fight

Lennox and Vlad had tools that Ali never had to face because there never was a very big man other than Jess & Primo to hold a title but Ali was exception at adapting however he never could do it with Frazier or Norton although he won the rematches those fights were hell. Both Lennox & Vlad brought a combination of size, talent and punching power into the ring that Ali never had to face but Ali was still Ali and he knew how to win.
