BUT Tyson didn't have the mentality of Frazier... after 6 rounds he'd probaly be de-motivated.

I grew up in the Mike era and all I can saw is bring on anyone vs a prime Mike, I'm picking a Prime Mike.

 

The guys Mike fought in his 'prime era' are nothing compared to Ali.

Ali had problems with guys that came forward and applied pressure like Frazier and Tyson had some trouble with athletic guys with good chins.

Its close.

I don't think Tyson can win a decision over Ali and I don't think Ali would be KOed in the early rounds when Mike was at his best.

 

Mike head/lateral movement...OUT OF THIS WORLD....Ali sucker for a left hook...Ali had problems with Fraizer & Ken Norton...people that slipped jabs....sorry I was born in the 80's Mike....in his PRIME...

Ali fought Frazier past his prime much like Mike fought Holyroid past his prime.

I think Mike would take the first fight and Ali would take the rematch and Mike wins the third and final fight proving he is the H2H GOAT

Have to take into account the mental game Ali would be playing with Tyson though, I see Ali winning by late stoppage.

Ali wasn't completely prime vs Frazier. He didn't have the same speed or movement as his prime self, imo. Tyson and Frazier are different fighters. Frazier crowded Ali and worked the inside more effectively than Tyson did, that's why he was so successful against Ali.

 

He can play mental games all he wants. . Mike from 86 to 89 did not play that ****. People compare frazier to tyson but its a bad comparison. Mike had shaper head movement frazier was herky jerky with his upperbody movement an you could time him easier than mike., faster hands, two handed and mastered every punch in the book, light on his feet, better chin than frazier. In my pinion mike had far superior talent than ali

 

i got ali .. i think he would survive the early onslaught and tyson would fade off leaving ali dancing circles around him. alis chin is to damn great, he wouldent be getting knocked out

 

Big thing is Mikes mentality i think Ali would beat him before they got in the ring, Mike has a chance if he stops Ali(hard to do) no way he could win decision, i can see it being really hard first few round for Ali once he takes few good Tyson shots he would gain more and more confidence while Mike would be in disbelief and Ali would take over and dominate the rest of the fight and win UD.
I would not necessarily take Frazier one as a Ali peak he didnt have the reflexes like before the lay off.
