    I love Ali, but he's to small. if he stand toe to toe with Wlad, his 200 pound body would not be able to take the punishment from Prime Wlad.

    rope a dope is not an option against Wlad

    Out of respect I was going to decline this thread...
    A prime Ali "Aka" Cassius Clay that beat Liston (1)
    Is levels above Wlad in every category except height & weight.

    I actually think that this could be a very good fight.. And far more competitive than some may think..

    I'm glad to see Wlad being compared to "The Greatest". That's the company he belongs in. Most champions are not appreciated while they are the champ. It's always the same old story. "His opponents are all bums and that's the only reason he's the champ. He's got no opposition.... It ain't like the old days....If Joe Louis was still around he wouldn't have a chance....etc., etc."

    It's been the same old story for ages. Maybe Wlad will be appreciated while he is still champ and break the old cycle. I hope so and there are some good signs.

    A prime Ali would stand toe to toe? He wouldn't be skipping around him throwing lightning fast jabs and combinations? Have you seen Ali?
    He took Foreman's punishment and even last night against a passive opponent Wlad was still reluctant to really go in and finish him off because he was so terrified of being hit.

    yes. Prime Ali is would be hard to hit. but Wlad is capable of doing that.

    Wladimirs shots would devastate Alis small frame. he'd lose his legs fast.
