Norton broke Ali jaw and lightheavy Cooper almost knocked him out. I don't see how Ali survives 12 rounds with Wlad without constantly running like Haye.

^^^ Exactly. Not going to read this thread. Most likely started by a Wlad hater - if not, good. Haye is about the same height as Ali, and Haye is heavier and a bigger puncher than the 70s Ali. In his era Ali was bigger than most of his opponents and still wasn't a big puncher. He admitted as much himself. Ali went through hell in 3 fights w/Frazier, who'd be a very under sized HW today.

There is nothing Ali could do to beat Wlad K. Ali was a great jabber and clincher. Wlad is just a bigger, stronger version. Watch Wlad-Haye for what you might see in a Wlad-Ali fight except Ali might take more chances - he'd still lose a UD or get KO'd. K bro haters - stop living in the past :D

L Lewis would also beat Ali w/o much trouble :hi:

"The will must be stronger than the skill" - Muhammad Ali. I think that Ali will take him into the deep end which I think Wlad is mentally weak.

First of all. ALi in his prime is probably nothing we have seen, but the nearest prime he was, was not when he fought Foreman or Frazier. WHen he fought CLeveland Williams was probably the nearest prime he was. He had speed, power and was impossible to hit. That Ali would have destroyed any of the K brothers since they have problem with defense as soon as anybody throws more than one punch at a time. To say that the greatest of all time would lose to anyone of these boxers don´t know boxing or has never been inside the ropes. Klitschkos are way to slow and stiff to be able to even catch the great Ali. It is disrespect to Ali to even think that these two belong in the same ring as the great Muhammad Ali.
Ali from the 70´s would not beat Cassius Clay from the 60´s. Way to fast.

Wald is a bad match up for Ali. Except for the Foreman fight Ali really relied on having a height advantage on his opponents. Ali was one of the taller heavyweights of his day. In the few fights where he didn't have a fight advantage the skill differential was too great, only Norton and Foreman had the height and skill to give Ali a fight. That is one of the reasons Norton game him such a problem. They were the same height.

I think a big question here is 12 or 15 rounder. In a 12 rounder I go for Wald by split decision. He wont knockout Ali. But Wald wont fall for a rope-a-dope like Foreman. In a 15 rounder I see Wald gassing and losing or being knocked out.
