David Haye. In his prime Golata liked to switch between a solid fighter and a mess who breaks under pressure. Neither are a match for Haye.
Golota had a glass mind and a glass chin but he could still fight. Not a walk in the park for Haye but he should still take it.
I would be totally fine with a Haye win if Golota just decided to end Haye's career with devastating low blows and head butts. Haye gets what he deserves and the foul pole lives on
If both show up and perform at their best this would be a mismatch. Golota could be inconsistent and break under pressure but Haye simply isn't that kind of fighter to force Golota and test his mental fortitude. Golota came unstuck against seek and destroy type fighters like Tyson, Brewster and Lewis. Haye has shown at heavyweight a very low work rate averaging about 25 punches a round and prefers to counter punch against bigger opposition. Even when Haye dropped Ruiz early it was off the back foot as Ruiz came at him. Haye doesn't have the style or work rate to pressure Golota so the chances of Golota breaking down is unlikely. Golota would outbox Haye, his movement, jab and combinations would be too much for him. Haye gets stopped late or loses a wide decision.
Haye is pot shot counter puncher ... to get Golota attention (especially in his prime) he should bully him, a single counters may knock Golota down but to stop him Haye would need to risk a full frontal attack ... which he never does because he is too assertive. I doubt Haye would break Golota mentally, it probably would be otherwise Haye would be too secure as he was vs Valuev and his chin would be tested as much as of Golota's. Fight would be exciting but I think after few rounds Haye would look like Mike Mollo.
