How tough of a fight would this be for Joshua ?

To be honest, I'm not sure when Chisora's prime was. During his first foray to the upper levels of the division he lost decisions to V. Klitschko, Fury and Helenius as well as being knocked out by Haye. Since then he has had a poor record against the top fighters.

Chisora always gives a quality effort but I can't imagine him having much of a chance to beat Joshua. Prime Joshua by a cumulative punishment knockout.

Yeah, it's impossible to say, when it comes to pure results his prime was from after the Whyte KO up to beating Pulev, between that he imo beat Parker and gave Usyk a decent fight and he looked in better shape than earlier in his career

You'd have to clearly favour AJ but Del Boy on his best day probably could have given him a good scrap.

2018-2020 was probably his prime as far as actual performances go, despite him already being quite old. The second Parker fight is where it started going downhill.

    Joshua, by KO and convincingly.

The more interesting one, IMHO, is prime Chisora Vs prime Wilder... I've said before, I'd pick Delboy - there wasn't nearly the difference in levels some would like you to believe, and stylistically Chisora's pressure would've been very unpleasant for Wilder.

He's had three of his five best victories in his last four fights. In a sick, bizarre way, his prime is right now.

Hope Hearn isn’t on the forum as you might see this one next.

The reality for any neutral boxing fan is that the match up is horrendously one sided in AJs favour. To say otherwise is laden with agenda.

Eddie would never stick Chisora in front of AJ

AJ hasn't fought a true puncher since Wlad.

Dubious will chin AJ with ease

Here's what AJ had to say about sharing a ring with Chisora 11 months prior to Usyk vs Chisora

"I watched the Chisora versus Price fight — I thought 'Why isn't Price controlling Chisora?' Joshua continued to share. "Then I sparred Chisora. The guy is strong, you know. He is no joke. And I give Dillian credit for dealing with him twice. To control Chisora over 12 or 11 rounds takes some doing."

Joshua tabbed Chisora for sparring sessions leading up to his rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr. in December, when he defeated the Mexican fighter via a lopsided unanimous decision to regain his unified world heavyweight titles.

Those sparring sessions ended in mutual respect between Joshua and Chisora.

"Look at Derek's knockouts - they aren't when he lands five shots then the ref jumps in.

    "Boom! Artur Szpilka.

    "Boom! Carlos Takam.

"He hit them with one shot and knocked them out. You can see he carries one-shot knockout power."

They've known each other for a long time. They used to train in the same gym when they started out

Maybe the question should be why did Joshua and Chisora never fight each other ? Joshua being the name missing from Chisora’s impressive cv . We all know Chisora would have jumped at the chance to fight Joshua on his way up through the rankings .

Can I add every job interview i've failed on my CV and call it impressive when i've been rejected from every half decent place?

I think it would be entertaining and Chisora has a chance early but Joshua most likely would've stopped him
