(PRIME) Anthony Joshua vs. (PRIME) Lennox Lewis

AJ has a punchers chance, but as I like AJ.... I am not gonna go against PRIME Lewis. Prime Lewis is the best HW of all times. UD or TKO for Lennox. But it would be a sensational fight.

We already saw this fight in Lewis vs Bruno, didn’t work out well for Bruno and it wouldn’t work better for AJ either.

Lewis is the GOAT head to head - he wins this.

Even if he has one of his moments of poor concentration, Joshua probably has too much respect to throw something big enough to starch him... The punch that knocked out Ngannou has the power to do it, but he wouldn't take that risk.

 

Lewis is simply the more complete fighter. He'd do what you usually does when faced against a bigger opponent, go right at them, he has the superior jab to work his way in and on the inside he is superior to Joshua as he knows how to be physical. You'd see the smaller Lewis manhandle Joshua on the inside because Joshua is clueless in the clinch, doesn't know how to frame, collar tie, use under arm hooks, etc. So Lewis physically manipulates Joshua into his brutal uppercut and KO's him. Would be similar to Lewis/Grant but Joshua isn't dumb enough to try and trade with Lewis so lasts until the middle rounds before being broken down.

Bruno does nothing better than AJ apart from maybe one punch power. That said I would favour a Lewis stoppage but AJ is a live dog in the fight

 

Lewis had enough smarts to recognise a thread immediately and would seek to neutralise Joshua as quickly as possibly

I see a Golota or Briggs style stoppage in less than 4 rounds.

 

Lewis would be comfortably ahead on the scorecards and stop him sometime in the second half.
