Anyone writing Joshua off is doing so out of emotion. I was a big Lewis fan back in the day, but he could be very inconsistent - and I remember the fans turning on him and underrating him back then too when he looked bad. He took a lot of the same flack AJ gets now, very similar.

That being said, he should rightfully be favoured but it’s not an easy fight at all.
Joshua is bigger, stronger, and more skilled than Bruno - who was really giving Lewis all he could handle in their fight. Joshua’s size and strength alone would be tough for Lewis, who was used to being the bigger man.

depends which version of each guy shows up really - I would bet on Lewis - but anyone saying it’s a foregone conclusion without considering all elements is acting on emotion rather than logic IMO.

Lennox Lewis, mentally more stable and stronger and at the same time a better fighter, of course Joshua has a chance because physically he can match Lewis...

Lewis has faster hands, and a better inside/clinch game.
    Longer reach and faster feet.

Come on, AJ is comfortably better than Bruno

This would be a very tough fight for Lewis. People who say otherwise have some nostalgic feelings there, I'd favour him but it would be a fight AJ would win 2 or 3 times out of 10.

I would say Lewis as he has the much better breadth of work, he liked fighting against big guys and almost always found a way to win. He is a bit overrated sometimes though I feel, although I agree he probably scrapes into the top 10.

AJ does have a chance, not just a puncher's chance but Joshua is well schooled and does the fundamentals very well. It would be a competitive fight but I see Lewis probably on UD or late TKO.

Mike Tyson is Ajs real worst nightmare
His low centre of gravity, peek a boo style mixed with ferocious speed and combinations would be a nightmare for Joshua

He would destroy Aj extra fast like Ruiz did first time around. Aj isn't skilled enough to do to a peak Tyson what he did in the rematch vs Ruiz

I'm not saying mike is better than Lewis and I pick both to beat Aj, but I think Aj has zero chance against a 1980s Tyson.

He would s..t himself when Mike gets close and that left hook would drop him/hurt him bad and it would be over soon after

Sure, it was more a play on that Bruno was big and muscular like AJ. Outcome against Lennox would be the same though.

Lennox clear favorite. But AJ absolutely had the capacity to sleep him. Lennox was ko'd twice by single shots.

I like AJ but Tyson is indeed the worst matchup for him. Fury is the only current fighter who I'd give any chance vs Tyson. He'd have to be at his absolute peak and spoil like crazy.

Usyk has no chance. He'd get folded with body shots.

If Rahman and McCall can KO Lewis so could AJ. The same goes the other way aswell but this is a close fight.

Tyson is 100% a nightmare for these guys
