This wouldn’t be a close fight at all Lewis would land the big right and KO AJ

Lewis resume pisses all over any HW in last 20-30 yrs tbh. Only misses are Wlad and Bowe- and Bowe didnt fancy it at all. AJ and Fury's combined CV's dont touch Lewis
People may not like Lewis, but you have to rate him. Had his lazy losses, but he came back and won the rematches

    70/30 Lewis.

Joshua can definitely knock Lewis out but I think more often than not Lewis stops him late.

This fight would be a mirrored image of Joshua-Ngannou. Unfortunately for Joshua, he would be the one getting laid out early.

Peak and fully focused Lewis wins all day long.

    7 days a week.

    Twice on a Sunday.

Completely agree. People bring up those losses but forget both Rahman and McCall are far superior to the two guys who arguably beat Fury. Lewis avenged both those loses as well.

Lewis resume is so overrared. No Vitali rematch. No Wlad. No Bowe. No Prime Tyson. No Prime Honyfield. No Ike Ibeabuchi. No Corrie Sanders.

He was a big bully like Vitali and Wlad. Nothing more. Today that size is almost standard. They have to actually face Boxers of similar statue and skills. This era is the best ever.

I have good understanding. Often predict fights well. You have to take away the nostalgia glasses. A guy like Zhang would bang away Foreman from ring.

    Excellent and well-balanced post.

Lennox was a monster, one of the best H2H heavyweights in history. But he wasn't unbeatable.

People seem to criticize AJ for his losses way too much. Lennox on the other hand gets a pass for his losses (his fans claim he wasn't in the right state of mind, got hit with lucky punch, won the rematches etc).

But AJ also got a win in the rematch vs Ruiz. People claim Ruiz was too fat, but what about McCall in the rematch? He should've never been allowed to enter the ring in that mental shape.

As for Usyk losses, he's undoubtly few levels above both Rahman and McCall. No one can predict how would Lennox fight vs Usyk have ended since Lennox never ever fought decent southpaw, let alone southpaw with great speed and skills like Usyk.

Lennox would be very dangerous fight for AJ since he's big, strong and skilled HW, and with some dirty tricks. But AJ (considering his power, counterpunching skills and explosiveness) wouldn't be an easy fight for any version or Lennox.

So do, which is why I knew Parker would school no tank 1 dimensional Zhang. There is no "nostalgia glasses" you just refuse to credit older fighters for your own personal bias. Ajs losing the poll because anyone with working braincells knows Lewis had higher iq, a better jab, better distance management, framed better, higher stamina, a better record of wins and would outclass aj in the pocket. The right hand was superior, etc. Aj isn't even faster. All he has over Lewis is MAYBE power and combinations at mid range

Lewis still beats him. He's just a better boxer with a lot more experience against top competition, including dealing with other big punchers like Tua and Briggs.

King Lennox beats most heavyweights. He’d stop aAJ early IMO
