Always thought Joshua would win this and still do. Bad style matchup for Fury. I think Fury starts well but gets worn down and KO'd late.

    Prime Fury
But now I think. AJ, as Fury doesn't fancy it

If another poll is to appear on who wins now? I'll vote Joshua

Joshua - I've always thought he'd have had a slight edge and still do.

Fury at his best wasn't heavy handed, so he might've struggled to trouble Joshua's questionable recovery.

That plus Fury almost always makes some kind of mistakes and he does get hit.

AJ has the better resume, Fury might've been the better fighter (but it's hard to tell with only one comparable common opponent - and even then, Joshua fought a 2 years younger Usyk than Fury did)... Fury needed luck to arrive at Usyk unbeaten, too - it's not as if either of them had an invincible career before the cat.

The thing is Joshua can be quite weak mentally so I'm wondering if Fury would get into Joshua's head prior to the fight and make him doubt himself.

But Fury has never really fought a puncher outside of an old Wladimir who has skills. Not that I'm saying Joshua is immensely skilled far from it but he can put punches together and hits hard with either hand unlike Wilder.

Honestly neither man for me is proven enough Fury only beat 3 ranked contenders and Joshua hasn't had a significant win for like 5 or 6 years.

I would actually like to know what we are considering primes here while AJ's might be a bit more straightforward for but Fury I would imagine you would get multiple answers due to his fairly long periods of inactivity.

Good post. Going by the eye-test, imo Fury is a better fighter with more tools in his kit. He also has incredible recovery skills countering AJs best shot at winning this (KO).

I have always favoured Fury because of his movement and we know Joshua struggles with movement. Yes Joshua could and very likely would land a few bombs and even drop Fury at least once but we know Fury has the ability to recover and get back up and Joshua simply doesn't have the work rate needed to break Fury down.

Anyone being rational would clearly have to favor Fury.

Far more versatile, more skilled, much, much stronger mentally.

Joshua in his prime got blown out by Ruiz, Dubois, almost stopped by and older Klitschko who couldn't touch Fury closer to his prime. The willingness of Fury to go into backyards as the underdog shows the difference in self belief which is the most important part of boxing.

To steal a line from Angelo Dundee, prime AJ couldn't hit prime Fury in the ass with a handful of sand....

    Fury all day

AJ might put Fury down during the fight but he'd lose a ton of rounds on the outside
    Fury's jab would win it

I'd say whoever controls the distance with his jab wins, and I lean AJ. ,plus Fury doesn't hit that hard. I probably would take Joshua but not with any confidence

So you think the stiff bum who couldn't land a single jab on Usyk and got jabbed to death by Dubious is going to control the distance against Fury with his jab better?

    You're a crackhead, certified.

AJ fanboys are the worst fanboys in boxing history.

Glad Fury has one more fight left in him, probably will beat Agit or Dubious. Maybe Usyk pulls out of Dubious bout due to injury and Fury will step in on 4 weeks notice and do the buisness that his greatness allows him to do.

This is not a coincidence that Tyson Fury choose Wilder "way" even when Joshua fight was bigger, better, more belts + more money.
Joshua probably got style to give Fury massive problems.
    At last Fury belive that.
Even now. Both got much less to loose but still Fury making problem and dont want smoke vs Joshua.
Who will win? Fury prime will be little favorite. For me 60-40 but hard to say what happend if he will fight this less expirence Joshua who dont afraid to loss yet and was offensive beast.
