Hatton by TKO. Gatti was NEVER an elite fighter.

I think this would be a close fight. If Gatti boxes he could make it very difficult for Hatton. However Hattons natural size and strength advantage could be enough to force a late stoppage.

    Hatton TKO 11/12 or...
    Gatti SD

Prime Gatti was 130....if he moved up in weight to fight a prime Hatton than a prime Hatton would beat him...I think it would be a war however because Hatton doesn't really have 1 punch ko power over a Gatti who could take a punch!

It would be a great fight. If Hatton fought like he did against kostya i think he would beat Gatti by late stoppage.

    Hatton would likely stop Gatti.

Gatti the "boxer" is a myth. He outboxed Mickey Ward 2 outta 3 times... but so did about 100 other fighters.

Hatton has quick enough feet to easily get inside of Gatti. Arturo's "boxing" wouldnt work.

Hatton easily by TKO, not a close fight.

Gatti was more of a "boxer" in the amateurs and was outboxing leija and dorin before he koed them and boxed tracy patterson to a win as well. He would most likely have to slug with hatton though, and at 140 his physical strength did match hatton's pretty well. I think hatton takes a wide UD with a few scares from a gatti left hooks. Gatti did have a granite even when he 1st entered jr welter and was only stopped on his feet by a monster in de la hoya, and a precision speedster in Pretty Boy Floyd.
