I don't think its as cut and dried as people are making out.

Graham would probably cause some early problems. Hopkins would work him out and take it comfortably enough.

Nunn would cause him some problems with his athleticism, as Taylor did. I think Hopkins might eek out a SD type win.

Kalambay and McCallum would be extremely competitive fights, could really go either way.

I think he'd beat the middleweight version of Hearns and Reggie Johnson wouldn't be a huge problem.

I seriously wonder when he was in his prime and how much better he was than now/the last few years...

I think he beats all but Tommy.

Hearns I think would be tough stylistically for him.

now hopkins can suddenly beat many of the post war middleweight greats according to some,lol..

without a possible analysis or reasoning people simply put he beats them all(all those great fighters dismissed in an instant by pre pubescant degenerates who seem to think hopkins is the second coming rather than the racist,******ed cheating primate he actually is) how ****ing victrionic and stuipidly arrogant..

the absurdity of his groupies is getting unbearable...

a prime mccallum would be a nightmare, graham COULD outbox him, mclellan would be interesting, none are dead certs you fools.

iv seen more objectivity in communism.

It doesn't matter so much if a fighter is a big star, what matters is the stylistic matchup. Hopkins has never been beaten with power, aggression or slickness. He has been beaten by fighters with clearly superior speed, that's the only thing RJJ, Taylor and Calzaghe have in common. Lesser fighters with a clear speed advantage over Hopkins like Taylor might be in a better position to beat him that some of the big names.

Anyone wanna actually break down each fight, or atleast give an individual result for each rather than " he beats them all "?

Hopkins was clearly past his best when Taylor got to him. That Hopkins I would pick atleast half the fighters I've mentioned to beat him a lot more clearly than did Taylor. Prime Hopkins on the other hand? TKO10 Taylor.

Hopkins should be favored against all of them.

Hearns was never outboxed in his carreer, even by Ray Leonard who was a more gifted fighter than Hopkins. Hopkins will need to rough him up

I really feel all would be terribly close and under the right conditions he could lose several.

Kalambay would give him all types of hell with his defensive ability and style. He would make Nard come to him like Taylor did but he would be much better at it. It would be a snoozefest to end all snoozfests..If they fought in Italy I really think Nard needs a knockout because every round would be close in this fight and all close rounds would probably go to Sumbu. In a neutral venue its a real toss up because Hopkins doesnt fight at a pace that would overly concern Kalambay and in a tactical chessmatch Sumbu is extremely hard to knock off.
DO NOT judge Kalambay on his fight with Nunn..if they fought 1000 times Nunn couldnt repeat that result.

Graham also poses a stylistic challenge..He was a good defensive fighter and his awkwardness could spell Hopkins trouble aswell. I have come to the conclusion that in his prime his chin wasnt near as weak as the Jackson fight indicated..He just got caught cold by the p4p hardest puncher ever and never really came back from it.
Again could come down to venue this one...In the UK Hopkins would have to work extra hard (though McCallum got a razor thin nod there)..Id still go with Hopkins but not by a whole lot.

Im confident Hopkins can beat Gerald but Hopkins was a bit ruffled against Echols..Whom McClellan hits harder and is physically stronger than.

Johnson.. hard fought but clear. Reggie was no mug, I just think he lacked that extra little bit to turn this from a closely fought loss to a closely fought win.

Nunn at his absolute very best I think could beat Hopkins..I really think he could but Nunn pretty much pissed away his talent by not always coming in top shape and not having the boxing intelligence to match his impressive ability.

My man the Bodysnatcher would throw everything he had at Hopkins..I dont really think he was quite at his peak once he got to middle..As much I would try to argue this one for Mike it would be uphill for him, I think this is actually one I would be pretty certain Hopkins could eek out.

As for Tommy there is an arguement for either one..Regardless I tend to think Hearns would win quite a few rounds in this one.
I for a long time I have thought Hopkins would take out the jab of Tommy, close the distance and mow down the less mobile middleweight version..Bagging a late, possibly behind on the cards stoppage. But I am sure Hearns would be able to outbox Hopkins for at least a period of time, if not the whole fight quite possibly.

Hopkins was a very good middleweight..Best of his era by some margin but I think he isnt quite on the level of Monzon or Hagler in a H2H sense.

Hopkins IS a Middleweight Great. Have you even seen footage of him?

Hopkins wins all of these fights. My question is why people are picking Hearns against him at Middleweight.

I see Hearns as someone Hopkins could rough up and knock out, as much as I respect Hearns as a fighter.

McCallum would be a good fight, but I don't see the others as even approaching 50/50 with Hopkins, all on their best nights.
