    I love this fight.

    For my money, Hopkins is the toughest middleweight styles matchup in the last 20 years for GGG. If GGG didn't have the caliber of jab, balance, and offensive variety to make it harder for Hops to predict his offense, I'd make Hopkins the favorite. As it stands, it's a good contrast of styles and one I could easily see the other man edging the other out in.

    Hopkins had a better ring IQ, and he also had faster feet and faster hands. He's more versatile on the whole. And when he had faster feet and hands, he usually did very well. Based on that, and the fact he was a taller middleweight, I think he'd cause a lot of problems for Golovkin, and I would tend to favor Hopkins by decision.

    I do think GGG'S jab and ability to cut the ring would make it a difficult fight but Hopkins is just better

    GGG wouldn't carry and play Hopkins like he did Brooks. Remember that bodyshot that hurt Brooks in the first? Hopkins would be eating them all night. GGG via bodyshot KO.

    GGG by beat down or late KO. Imagine what Kovalev did to Nard and multiply that with 10. GGG would tenderize Nard's face so bad that when Nard finally goes to hospital after the fight the ER doctors would say "Who ordered pizza? We didn't order no pizza!"
