You do have to factor in, GGG's excellent jab. It would at least bother Bhop to a degree. But a prime Hop had enough craftiness, quickness and guile to frustrate GGG enough get a decisive but it wouldn't be a walk in the park. A workman like 7-5 decision seems more likely.

I don't know if anyone has ever done this but what I would really be curious about is what would happen in a tournament between Hopkins, Hagler, Greb, Monzon and Robinson, to see who could lay the most pipe.

I would like to be in the rooms, if at all possible.

If they are both aware of what the other guy possesses and not just randomly thrown in a ring together, Hopkins would come up with a game plan to win.

GGG's jab and pressure would be too much for Hopkins who has his moments but can't do much to win besides play it safe it avoid getting knocked out.

Golovkin is not just a slugger, he's a master boxer.

Tbf to Popkins he did survive to the decision against Kovalev in that one sided beatdown so I agree he goes the distance.

Hopkins on his best night uses his legs and outboxes Golovkin on his best night. Too big and durable to boot.

I can post a few instances of Hopkins kissing the canvas and more.

You can't post a single time GGG got knocked down.

Golovkin is more durable than Hopkins and it isn't close.

He's certainly more durable than Jacobs, does everything better too

Hopkins is smarter than Jacobs. But Jacobs is more aggressive, flurries better and hits harder. Let's also not forget that Jacobs rehydrated fully whereas Golovkin had to stay dry for the IBF strap.
