i always liked bowe and not only could he box he could fight. i think this guy might be the one to turn the trick against liston.

I think Bowe is too hittable to defeat Liston.

Bowe's too big, agile and tough for Liston

    Bowe mid-late stoppage

    Not sure.

Liston had plenty of wingspan and a terrific left jab to hit Bowe regularly. He also had a lot of power to back his punches. But some of that may have been overshadowed by the fact that Bowe was much larger and more physically imposing, something that Liston wasn't used to. Riddick also had a great infighting game, a good chin and reasonable power.

    Toss up for me.

I think Bowe was a tad too easy to hit to beat Liston. Liston would find the mark too often with his jab and right hand. I'd favor Liston via late stoppage or decision.

It'd be a very good, action packed fight though.

pretty much agree. bowe would be outjabbed and the minute he turns it into a slugfest, liston mashes his face with left hooks. i like bowe and he was good. liston was better

both men very beatable, but bowe did show more heart than liston ever did, he was bigger, did hit as hard if nor harder , funny because i think that bowe was faster ,and he was proved against much bigger and better men than liston did,, i pick the 92 bowe, decision

Liston was better because he beat 170 pound Floyd Patterson? Highly logical right? Beating a glass chin super middleweight means you can beat a 6'4 230 pound fighter. Bowe wouldn't fear Liston and would stopped him end of story.

6'5 235 even bigger then. Liston gets overrated around here because he beat Floyd Patterson .You can say Bowe's best win was over Holyfield a 210 pound steroid addict which is more impressive than beating a guy known for his fragile chin like Patterson

Well as long we've decided to sum up fantasy fights on the basis of one-opponent comparisons, then I guess James Douglas beats them both.

both fighters very dangeous, and one of the best h2h..
bowe taller, liston longer reach.both punch hard, and can take a good punch.
who ever questions liston's courage, should watch cleveland williams fights.
williams was a fast, hard hitting hw,and liston smashed him twice.
liston vs bowe 50-50 for me,great great fight.

no man, actually he's underrated cause of golota fights...
bowe had a very good chin, punch, size and skills.in his prime, very few could beat him.you can make ali and holmes favorites against him,but he's got a good chance against anybody else
