In your opinion, what were his best wins? It's pretty thin!

The Wlad that AJ fought. Bruno would have beaten easily imo.
I do agree though that if he got hurt your scenario would play out.

Gerrie Coetzee was a good win. The guy only lost his world title 2 fights previous and Bruno blew him away in the 1st round.

AJ by no definition is or ever has been an elite heavyweight for me.
The only elite heavyweights since Lennox Lewis retired are both Klitschko brothers and Fury. Usyk is an elite fighter. Is he an elite HW ?

It’s a bit of a myth to say Bruno outboxed Lewis with his jab. He did have success with it. Most observers had the fight level after 6 rounds which I think was fair. Upto the end of the 6th round, that was Brunos best ever performance. Lewis certainly underperformed, but I always thought like many that Lewis was going to find that punch and end the fight. Bruno took a lot of punishment when he was hurt in the 7th and the fight should have been stopped sooner. A Manny Steward trained Lewis would have seen that fight be a very one sided affair and Lewis get the job done quicker.

    Joshua was never elite.

Elite level packaging, british level content.

take out shot to pieces old 18months retired VLADD and you’re left with a bus full of tier two fodder.

One Deontay wilder would have trumped twenty shot old kubrat pulevs.

but they didn’t want it KOOGS!!!

AJ wins but if Frank Bruno catches him, it's game over. He had some serious KO power. The people's champ. Even rocked Tyson during their fight.

Bruno made Quick Tillis quit on his feet with his ramrod jab. Tyson was an interested spectator, watching as if looking at a chess board for his next moves. He respected Bruno as a serious challenge, you could see it.

What was it Big George Foreman said? He’d never face Frank Bruno, ‘that guy has muscles where other men don’t have muscles!’

I remember when people were predicting Tyson’s former chief spar Jesse Ferguson might finish Bruno’s career after running Ray Mercer so close.
Bruno blew him away in about 90 seconds.
His shots didn’t look powerful, but the effects were hideous.
