I watched their actual fight a few weeks ago, and seeing the Quarry vs Rahman thread pretty much gave me the whim to make this one. In their actual fight Bugner was only 37, but clearly past his best, and it was fairly competitive for a while. So, prime for prime?...
Bugner, all the way. Bruno would be huffing and puffing after a few rounds, never mind 15, and wouldn’t last the distance. Aussie Joe’s skill and durability would wear Frank out.
I've got Bugner winning either close but unanimous decision, or big Frank tires by the latter rounds and gets stopped.
If Joe gets out the early rounds he wins points of late stoppage. Doing that against a puncher like Bruno is easier said than done.
