Amazing how Lewis fans will argue for their man against any heavyweight champion in history. so i set up this thread and just as i expected it did not get one single Lewis fan to make a case for their man with the reason being they know Douglas would have `BeHeaded` Lewis with ease.

Douglas moved pretty good. He would trouble Lewis, but Lewis would crack him at some point and he would most likely fall apart, but I could easily see Lewis by decision here.

Lewis had the better career but prime vs prime is different. Douglas beat a better opponent then Lewis ever did plus he did it without to much trouble. I would also say that Douglas had faster hands was better on his feat and more cordinated with a better chin and more then enough power to knock out Lewis. I believe that the Douglas who beat Tyson beats any version of Lewis.

Would have gone the distance,I think. Lewis would have taken it,although Buster would have made it hard.
Lennox's harder punching would decide it.

Agreed. I think a Lewis KO is more likely than a decision, with something like Douglas-Tucker occuring between rounds 5 and 8. Douglas would frustrate Lewis a lot with that great jab, just like Bruno did, but he lacked the durability to beat a prime Lewis. It's true that Lewis was very vulnerable to a good jab, but Douglas was even more vulnerable to a good right hand.

    Bottom line.

Douglas is a superb fighter but had trouble focusing. Tyson probably would have beaten him anyway had his sunday punch not occured at the very end of the 8th, I see Douglas getting caught while ahead on the scorecards.
  12. yes he hates Lewis and generally makes threads about him 2 discredit him every momennt he can it is fact

Iremember he made 1 thread about Lewis-Toney, Lewis-Ruiz, and actually ,
picking Ruiz and Toney against Lewis :lol:

Douglas from the Tyson fight? This is easy: Douglas knocks him out. We all know Lennox didnt take shots well

Yep. And what was the punch that nearly finished off a prime Douglas? The right uppercut. Now, can we think of a British-Canadian heavyweight that threw a mean right uppercut?
