Great fighter, I thought he beat Hopkins clearly and forced B-Hop to fake a few fouls to get some rest and at the time I thought Lacy was a serious danger, that fight demoralized Left Hook, Kessler was another one and it was a body shot the froze Kessler

Jones most likely would have beaten him, but not by much. If they fought three times, Joe would win at least once. Toney would have not been able to beat Joe. Stylistic night for James. Joe would have peppered him and been far too active and athletic for Toney to deal with even though volume punchers never throw as many punches against a great counterpuncher, they still throw enough.

How anyone can think Calzaghe beats Ward is beyond me. It wouldn't even be a close fight. It'd just be one guy landing on the other all night long, nothing else.

He'd lose to Jones and Toney for sure. Possibly Ward.

Not the most stylish fighter, but his stamina was freakish.

He could outbox most ATGs and those he couldn't outbox he could outwork.

    Best H2H fighter EVER.

Joe's a HOF no doubt but I don't know why the need for these random attempts at raising his stock in the boxing world past or present. Guy had a great run but many people blind themseleves of his true worth....looking back at his career objectively of course will show the guy had excellent timing on his side stayed at one weight class during a weak era that included some worthy opposition that where way out their peak. He is who he is and I think he's ranked fairly since I don't see his name plastered all over the boxing forums because lets face it the luster just isnt there. I still feel he is top quality and one of the greatest super middles to ever lace'em up.

Also you have to consider how little great 168ers there have been.

Do you not think Jones Jnr, Toney, Nunn, Eubank, Benn, Leonard, Hearns were great fighters? To name a few.

Again putting all this nice info into proper perspective really does not justify him being this godly boxing figure....even putting him head to head vs smaller fighters through out history I can't see him as an overall better package than SRR at WW or Duran at LW The mongoose at LHW etc etc....I respect the support you've shown him but its a bit much TBH.
