joe has 2 or 3 more good wins at SMW than 3G currently has.

if 3G moves to SMW and beats 2 titlists, he equals joe.

But will still need to do more at SMW to catch Froch and Ward.

Calzaghe all day. Too big, fast and slick. GGG would be getting hit like no tomorrow. He would just box the breaks off GGG.

I don't think Golovkin is well-suited to moving up in weight. Short, not all that elusive, likes to put people on the back foot etc. I don't think his power (which I find a tad overrated anyway, but that's by the by) would necessarily transition up to 168, and Calzaghe was a pretty tough guy with a dependable chin.

Calzaghe couldn't fight in the inside so he'd need to stay busy and alert, but I think he initiates and gets off first too much for Golovkin and keeps him away. Calzaghe a bit too quick and big in this one, I think.

UD for the Welshman, something like 116-112 or 117-111 on all the cards.

the big thing about this is its hypothetical,no way joe gets in ring with someone near elite unless he has no other choice.

Question is, would 3G entertain it? He has been a lifelong MW.

Somewhat agree. I think GGG muscles up too much to fight at 168 - given his body type/shape

Sir Joe Calzaghe aka the Welsh dragon is possibly the only 160-168lb that's walked this earth that could possibly beat GGG

GGG wins every hypothetical matchup on here, so I'll have to go with GGG here.
